Official NoG Resellers ... 'Mr Smooth' first saw the workshop lights back on the 1st November 2008 under the scrutiny of Combatspace and was proclaimed to 'dislike long tracks like a cat does swimming in water' ..
After many discussions regarding paint and the pros and cons of carbon versus non carbon, thx1138joe71 finally produced an upgraded version of an original paint submitted some time ago for a livery contest ... in two colours .. the rather fetching black carbon edition and what I can only describe as a deep vivid blue, which has to be seen in garage and in game to fully appreciate it's complexities ...
Six weeks passed with barely a glimmer of hope of a tune for the car until I offered up my services to StevezRandmNade and his D class Tuscani .. that car inspired me to take this car out from under the dust sheets and during the christmas period the car was repeatedly taken out on numerous tuning missions ... early January a tune was born ..
Subsequent tweaking has yielded seriously positive results from the car, especially since at it's conception it was said to hate the longer tracks .. well it loves them now as well as some of the shorter options into the bargain ...
As you all know, it's in exhibition mode that I do most of my testing and performance figures for a car and it is no different for this one .. here are the stats as driven by myself across the following tracks ..
Maple Valley (4 laps) #17 - 06:31.894
Mugello (5 laps) # 36 - 10:10.936
Road Atlanta (4 laps) # 62 - 06:12.608
Silverstone GP (5 laps) # 51 - 10:14.414
Suzuka (6 laps) # 42 - 13:46.558
Suzuka West (3 laps) # 89 - 04:26.987This
FWD Hyundai Tuscani handles like a dream for me, mind you I drive differently with these types of cars than with any other .. for me, it's a matter of being ultra smooth .. on the brakes, turn in, holding the line and acceleration is all done smoothly and early .. taking any substantial amount of momentum out of the car will result in poor performance figures for any potential buyers.. I guess that is true of any car !
Be quick, be smooth, be confident and this car will tear up the track with the minimum of fuss and bother .. we hope you enjoy the car and have as much fun and smiles as I did whilst tuning ..
Enjoy, Goldie...
